Spearheaded launch of daily Tech Flash newsletter, which covered Dallas startups, mid-market companies and large corporations for thousands of subscribers. Broke news online. Wrote features in print. Weekly, produced an average of 15 online stories and four print elements, plus special features. Video, photos, social media included. Covered local, national companies, legislative and legal issues, financials and analysis.

Covered city government, city services, and breaking news in print, via blog, and on Twitter for daily Metro. Also covered county and general assignments across Dallas-Fort Worth, including contributing to the story investigating the murder of a Kaufman County prosecutor.

Developed a model to consolidate three editions into one. Produced a 24-44 page weekly community paper covering school boards, city councils, and human interest stories. Distribution was 38,000. Wrote, edited, shot photos, updated website, and social media sites, and managed more than 30 contributors. Worked shifts for daily Metro.

Wrote and edited for four state and national publications covering supplier diversity in large corporations. Also served as creative director and co-host for Diversity Scope, a video web segment, and edited web copy.

Coverage included dissecting the inconsistency of the school's safety escort service and the story of a student caught in the middle of a legal battle between the university and a condo owner.
